About Green Energy
Green Job Opportunities

Ontario needs jobs and economic development opportunities. Our traditional manufacturing economy is in a downturn. We need to generate significant and meaningful jobs.

Green collar jobs will grow our economy in a greener and more sustainable direction. The United Nations Environmental Program released their first report on the emergence of a "green economy". (See document below)

As a result of climate change more countries are looking at innovative ways to reduce their emission level. Renewable energy technologies are taking off in many developing countries and creating millions of new job opportunities.

Ontario needs the the Green Energy Act to develop meaningful jobs for Ontarians and to enhance community economic development for rural, remote and First Nations communities.
